The Croatian Sensation
No, not the brilliantly talented former Super Spurs midfielder but the Rimac Concept One- a supercar that produces 1073bhp without the whiff of an exhaust emission and it’s yours for £638,000!
Head down to the Salon Prive event at Syon Park in London on 5 September this year and you’ll witness a collection of cars so expensive, so exclusive and so utterly unattainable you may just walk home weeping into a suitably inadequate scrap of bog roll.
One car on show that will certainly have the green eyed monster surfacing is the Croatian-built Rimac Concept One, an all-electric hypercar that’s capable of destroying the 60mph mark in just 2.8 seconds.
The key to the Concept One’s stomach-churning performance figures is the super lightweight chassis (weighing in at just 1950kg) and the four massive electric motors that propel the gorgeous hunk of carbon fibre to warp speeds.
There will only be 88 models produced- costing a whopping €1 million- and with styling by former Pininfarina staff, you can expect these rare beauties to be snapped up fast. Let’s just hope the new owner can afford the electricity bills.
